Connecting Tourism to Neighborhoods
San Francisco Travel Association encourages visitors to stay longer and return often by encouraging them to explore San Francisco's many diverse neighborhoods. In this workshop we will discuss the impact and importance of tourism and ways to capture this key audience.
Carol Perry has spent over eight years at San Francisco Travel and is responsible for communicating the importance of San Francisco’s tourism industry to key community and travel industry stakeholders. In her role as Director, Stakeholder Engagement, Carol develops programs to ensure positive and productive relationships with neighborhood associations and merchant groups. She staffs the Community Engagement Council, assists in implementing Public Policy initiatives and also oversees the programming and management of SF Travel's Board of Directors.
