Kristin Johnson is Region Director for the Northern California Small Business Development Centers (Norcal SBDC).  In this role she oversees SBDC's 12 Centers and 30 outreach locations located in 13 Northern California counties, including the San Francisco Bay Area.  Kristin served as State Chair for the statewide SBDC program from 2010-2012 and has been with the SBDC program since 2001.
Prior to 2001, Johnson worked for Nike as Sales Manager for the Snowboard division, and was part of three different start-up endeavors in the sporting goods industry.  Two companies in which she was a senior manager were venture capital backed, with one selling to publicly-traded Vans, Inc.
Johnson lives in Eureka, CA but travels frequently to San Francisco and throughout California for work.  She serves as Assembly Speaker Perez's appointee to the SAFE BIDCO Board of Directors.
